Independent Projects

Andrea is involved in numerous projects as writer, director, curator, and creator. With every project she pairs her personality with perception to shine light on each project’s specific creative and communicative goals.

Here are a handful of her ongoing projects:

SHORT FILMS: A Space Films develops and produces short films and creative content by Ontario artists. Our first short, SIDE STREETS, is set to hit the festival circuit in 2015.

1000 Dates

RELATIONSHIP BLOG: In essence: a dating blog with partner Brian Cauley. This blog is both a description of and an active participant in our journey through life. Here we document our way to 1,000 dates – the joys, challenges, growing pains – and all the in-betweens.

A co-project with Brian Cauley, Disposable is an on-going, interactive installation that aims to repurpose everyday, forgotten, and thrown-away items. This is the first step in collecting 1.2 million cups.

EVENT CURATOR: “LOOK UP: art stars and harmony” is a multidisciplinary evening showcasing visual work by Brian Cauley and sounds from local musicians and DJs; in conjuction with Nuit Blanche Ottawa Gatineau, the Ottawa Intional Film Festival, and the City of Ottawa.

EVENT CURATOR: The Ottawa Intional Film Festival is comprised of many events, one being the Music Video Challenge where musicians and filmmakers come together to compete and celebrate hard work done on music videos from around the globe, all made in the last year.

EVENT BLOG: Toronto Social Review is a hyperlocal website focusing on events in downtown Toronto. An indie online magazine, we try to encompass all that Toronto has to offer, from an unbiased, audience standpoint.
