ROOM is a bi-monthly peer review workshop for female-identified* and/or intersectional feminist** writers*** who are looking for a safe space to share, give, and receive feedback on written work.
Meetups take place in the small meeting room at CSI Annex, 720 Bathurst St. Nearest intersection: Bathurst & Bloor. We’ll be in the MIND BOMB (!) ROOM, past reception and cafe, on the right.
NEXT MEETUP / Wednesday, May 30th, 2018, 6-8pm
ALL written work applies. That means: short story, long form, screenplay, poetry, prose, creative non-fiction, journal, blogging, lyrics, speeches – any genre.
REGISTER by submitting your piece to be printed for the meetup (or indicate that you will be attending without a piece): https://goo.gl/forms/hONkijmV45btkmNN2
You do not have to submit a piece of writing to attend, and can still participate in the reading and workshopping of work.

**we recognize the interconnectedness of race, gender, sexuality, religion, class, ability, etc. and the ways in which their marginalization affects our experiences in non-linear ways.
***this is an inclusive definition of “writer,” and we welcome aspiring, published, dabbling, non- and part-time writers, those who already identify as such (or those who are, simply, people who use words to express themself).
